UFC Champion Michael Bisping has joined Den of Thieves 2: Pantera , where he will be paired with the returning cast Gerard Butler
and O’Shea Jackson Jr.
Bisping will reprise his role as Connor in the sequel, having previously played Millennium Starred in the upcoming Red film Sonia in 2019. His other credits include xXx: Return of Sander Cage, Twin Peaks, Warrior, Never Back Down: Defying and Triple Threat.
Bisping can also be seen in the Universal Pictures documentary Bisping , he also does color commentary on UFC screens and has branched out into unscripted series such as competition episodes on NetflixHyperdrive.
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera , written and directed by Christian Gudegast, opens in UK and Ghana in April Production began on Leigh Island, and footage will continue through June.
The sequel follows Big Nick stalking the bad guys through the streets of Europe and getting closer to capturing Donnie (Jackson). Meanwhile, Downey is drawn into the dangerous world of diamond thieves and the Black Panther mafia as a heist is planned on the world’s largest diamond exchange.
The original Den of Thieves film featured the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (played by Butler as “Big Nick” Flanagan) lead) in the pursuit of a group of sophisticated bank robbers. Sierra Affinity is involved in the sale and financing of the sequel, with producers Marc Canton, Butler, Tucker Tooley and Alan Siegel co-produced make.
