As part of her rousing awards season for this mind-bending drama Everything, Everything at the Same Time , Michelle Yeoh Embracing the unexpected and surreal red carpet looks – often created by Schiaparelli. At tonight’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, the famous actor continued her impressive fashion in a Salvador Dalí painting. The star wore a black strapless gown with bold gold sequined tassels down the front. The look was featured in the brand’s spring 2023 couture show, held only last month, and was inspired by Dante’s
Inferno. With an ultra-realistic lion head also featured on the show, Yeoh’s outfit is downright minimalist. Still, it caught the attention of SAG.
Yeoh was nominated for Best Actress at the ceremony, and her timeless accessories complemented her bold looks. She wore chandelier earrings, a sleek ponytail and understated black heels. An unexpected addition: a large black diamond watch, an accessory more commonly associated with formal menswear.
Tonight’s look is just one of many recent Schiaparelli moments for Yeoh. The star chose several pieces by Daniel Roseberry for her public appearances and editorial shoots — notably the sinuous, sculptural dress Yeoh wore to the Palm Springs Festival. Each look is like a universe we want to jump into.
With the Oscars approaching – Yang is a strong contender for “Best Actress” – we’re excited to watch To Yeoh brings us to the next one.
