Okada The staff of Mari and MAPPA‘s original animated film (Alice and Teresa’s Illusion Factory) announced Thursday that singer-songwriter Miyuki Nakajima is singing the movie’s theme song “Shin-on” (heartbeat). This is the first time the veteran singer has sung the theme song for any anime or game. (Nakajima’s song has appeared on other anime’s soundtracks, and she’s written songs for other artists.)
Okada asked Nakajima himself for the theme song last fall. At first, Nakajima was puzzled by the request, since she didn’t know much about anime or games. However, Nakajima was persuaded after reading Okada’s script and composed the song specifically for the film.
The film will premiere in September 14, and will star Junya Enoki as 13 Year-old main character Kikuru Masamune, Ueda Reina plays the authentic classmate Atsumi Sagami, and Misaki Kuno as the mysterious girl Yimi (the spelling of the character’s name has not been confirmed).
The film centers on Masamune, a third-grade middle school student who lives in a small town where time has passed. all exports. Okada is writing and directing the movie, which is MAPPA originally announced). Okada is also credited as the author of the original work. Okada also wrote novels for the film, Kadokawa Bunko published in June issued14.
Hiramatsu Masa as the assistant director, Yuriko Ishii (, ) is designing the character and serving as lead animation director. Kazuki Higashiji (, , ) is in charge of art direction. All of the aforementioned animators collaborated on Okada’s film. Masaru Yokoyama (, ) is composing. Warner Bros. is distributing the film.
