Brandon Nimoy has spent his entire MLB career with the New York Mets, but the Colorado Rockies may be looking to change that in the 2023 campaign.

Patrick Denver The Post’s Sanders reported Wednesday that the outfielder was “on the Rockies’ preliminaries “wish list” when it came to free agency. It wasn’t an easy signing, as SNY’s Danny Abriano reported Thursday, “The Mets are interested in keeping Nemo, who has expressed a desire to return. “
Sanders suggested that, according to estimates, to sign the free agent, it would take a deal worth about $115 or $120 million. A five-year deal for US dollars.
Nimmo was one of many free agents in New York this offseason, with Jacob deGrom and Edwin Díaz at the top of the list .
For a team that lost control of the Eastern Conference National League after the regular season and then lost to the San Diego Padres That said, this could lead to some tough decisions in the NL wild card series. Nimmo is about to end a A pro season that saw him hit .274/.367/.433 with 16 homers, 64 RBIs, 30 doubles and a league-best 7 3s. According to Baseball Reference, he has a 5.3 offensive game End, his best since joining the Mets in 2016. The 29-year-old of players appear to be in their prime and would be an important addition to the team that eventually signs him. Colorado looking to bounce back from a worse season than the Mets, 68-94 in the National League West despite signing Kris Bryant before the campaign Bottom.
This team continued its losing streak, finishing fourth in the last three years and having won the World Cup since 2007. The big game hasn’t overtaken the NLDS since.

The Rockies may need to add more than just Nimmo to play including the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Diego Padres Team and the San Francisco Giants in the National League West, but he would be an ideal starting point and add some southpaw pop to the lineup.

His numbers could also soar at the heights of Denver, a welcome development for the Rockies.

However it looks like they will have to compete with the Mets and maybe other suitors to sign him.
