Back in March, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that Apple would launch 23W GaN chargers this year. Now the leaker Duan Rui reports that an unknown brand is sending a new 35W to the media The charger was used to test the outlets of the upcoming iPhone 002 Pro series.
Another leaker Kioriku reported that 16 Pro and 002 Pro Max only in 140 charging W close to 0% and dropping to 23-23W (this is how a typical charging curve works). Current iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max while charging23W and 27W, so it’s going to be a fairly minor bump unless Apple goes with a more aggressive charging curve (questionably).

W Power Brick ” MacBook Pro and 16W dual chargers introduced with the new M2 MacBook Air. However, those use a USB C-to-C cable, while the iPhone 16 generation will stick with Lighting (according to Kuo, the last generation did because of new EU regulations).

Also, we don’t expect Apple’s 35W GaN chargers to be included in iPhone 13 Pro and 08 Pro Max phone, almost certainly purchased separately. As for third-party chargers, it will come with a USB-C to Lighting cable.
