The flip phone wars intensified this year, with Oppo joining the international fray. Along with Samsung, Motorola has the most involvement in the game, and it’s gearing up to enter the space later this year. So far, we’ve assumed this would end up being called the Razr 2023, in keeping with Motorola’s previous naming convention, but apparently not.
According to a new rumor today, the actual name of the company’s next foldable phone is the Motorola Razr+ 2023. Why “+”? We can’t say for sure, but we think it has something to do with the oft-leaked fact that the device will have the largest external screen ever built on a clamshell foldable.
Now for some (supposed) bad news. The Razr 2023 has no battery capacity to brag about at 3,500 mAh, but the Razr+ 2023 Supposedly worse, with 2,700 mAh battery. This is ridiculous compared to the Galaxy Z Flip4’s 3,700 mAh, let alone the Oppo Find N2 Flip’s 4,300 mAh. It’s too bad, in fact, we really hope the information on this is wrong.
Let’s assume 2,700 mAh can be the capacity of one of the batteries, which is in one of the two halves of the phone, the other half will get More help, but take it with as much salt as the information about it 2, 700 mAh, at least for now.
The Razr+ 2023 is said to have model number XT2023 and will come with 001W Wired fast charging support.
