Kadokawa revealed on Monday that the writer’s TV anime Akumi Agitogi and illustrator Tsukiho Tsukioka‘s () light novel series will be published in Netflix this year. Yen Press authorizes the light novel, describing the story: Born into an aristocratic family, Miyo was raised by her abusive stepmother and married Kiyoka, a soldier so ruthless that his ex-fiancée died three months after their engagement. Flee within days. Homeless Miyo slowly begins to open up to her cold and pale husband-to-be, though their introduction doesn’t go well… and maybe this is her chance to find true love and happiness.
Rito Kohsaka‘s manga adaptation debuted in December on Square Enix‘s website 284. Square Enix Manga & Books is releasing the manga in English, both physically and digitally.
Live-action film adaptation of the novel will be released in Japan in March .
