Your essential summer purchase—and why you love it?
As a pear-shape, finding a miniskirt that doesn’t constantly have me on the verge of a wardrobe malfunction was tricky until a friend recommended the Girlfriend Collective Skort. It’s super-easy to dress up—and perfect for outdoor music festival season.
A place you love to visit, and what makes it special to you?
Vivienne Westwood is one of my all-time favorite designers. Every time I’m in London, I pay a visit to her World’s End store—her original shop circa her ‘70s-punk Sex Pistols era. It’s like stepping inside fashion history—and you can shop unique pieces that are only available in this store!
Your favorite swimwear—and the beach where you’ll be wearing it?
Tan lines drive me insane, and I seem to get them as soon as I step outside. My current swimsuit obsession is True Tone Swim’s tan-through bikinis—that’s right, tan-through! I’m living in the UK this summer and look forward to visiting Brighton Beach for the first time on a hot (and uncommonly sunny) day.
The fashion item you wouldn’t go on vacation without, and why?
I feel naked without a shoulder bag—it’s my favorite accessory. I stuff it with a film camera, ten unnecessary lip products, and a few other essentials. Rather than chasing bag trends, I prefer to find unique vintage pieces that speak to my personal style. My current favorite bag is my vintage Gucci Jackie bag.
Your summer beauty staple, and why?
Blame it on the heat making me impatient, but in the summer I prefer a short beauty routine packed with multi-use products. Rather than a lipstick or liner, I opt for the Palladio lip tint marker—smudged out with my fingers and a lip balm on top.
