The latest issue of “King Kong” is themed on myths and legends, and a legendary exhibition with mythical proportions, which is eye-catching and emotional. In this exhibition, some surreal figures, photographs and hangings from their new contributors set the scene.
King Kong lets artists take old myths and legends for a second look, or create something new from the world around us. A shared moment of connection in a very disconnected world.
Featured artists are: Nik Kosmas, Francesca Facciola, Keith Boadwee, Göksu Kunak, Gabriel Massan, HYDRA, Selin Davasse, BORA, Pretty Puke, Carole Méthot and Fatine Violette Sabiri, Matt Grubb, Kenyon Anderson, Shadrinksy, Rozy and Zoé Chauvet, Tillmann Lauterbach, Cool 3D World, Body Snatchers, Sasha Chaika, Unax LaFuente, Charlton Diaz, Éamonn Freel, Mclalan, Koko, Oasis of Hate, Lord of Graphix, Gian X Marco, Davide Stucchi .
As the curators say, this exhibition mixes unpredictable Berlin energy with a bit of London quirk in a functionalist Milanese setting. These cities have always been the magic triangle of King Kong inspiration, of course our eyes and minds have to go further to capture the energy from all over the world.
