Supermodel Nadia Ferreira and singer-songwriter Marc Anthony were married last weekend at the Pérez Museum of Art in Miami with a star-studded crowd Miami. The pair were initially introduced by a mutual friend at a Maestro Cares Foundation event before getting engaged 2022 – and tied the knot in January after eight months of whirlwind planning .
Victoria and David Beckham, Salma Hayek and Lin-Manuel Miranda were all there to celebrate the couple, already known by many “Wedding of the Year”. “We had a great team that worked with us on every detail,” the bride and former Miss Universe contestant explained of the planning process. “Marc and I were involved in everything,” she adds, noting that the couple worked with NCIB Design to bring their vision to life.
On her wedding day, Nadia looked in two custom dresses. “They were made especially for me by the wonderful Galia Lahav,” she explains. “I loved, loved, loved my dress. When we first met we discussed my vision for the special day and they showed me the most beautiful sketches brought to life in the most glorious way. Her ceremony gown, the Hunter gown, featured a sheer sweetheart bodice and floral embroidery, from a voluminous embellished silk tulle skirt to a wide, horsehair-trimmed skirt.
Meanwhile, the bridesmaids dresses were designed by the couple’s close friend Victoria Beckham. “Mark, David and Victoria have been friends for a long time,” Nadia noted. “These dresses are gorgeous navy and she made them with so much love. I’m forever indebted to her.” Marc wore a Dior Men bespoke suit, while the groomsmen wore navy and black tuxedos—similar styles, but different styles. Each has its own personal style.
The groom’s father, Marco Felipe Muñiz, walked the bride along the aisle at the beginning of the ceremony, while the background The music played Marc’s version of Peter Gabriel’s song “The Book of Love”. Mark’s close friend, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, officiated at the ceremony, while Father Jorge blessed the couple. “The ceremony was everything I could have dreamed of,” Nadia said. “There was love and kindness in the room.”
Service was followed by a sit-down dinner with Paraguayan dishes on the menu honoring Nadia’s heritage; and then, after dinner, The bride changed into Galia Lahav’s second look, called Jill. Crafted from yarn and silk and adorned with dazzling iridescent sequins and feathers, the mini skirt is the perfect party dress for dancing the night away. The evening’s entertainment featured Angelo Pagán and his band first, followed by DJ Xtreme and DJ Cassidy – whose playlists undoubtedly included some of Marc Anthony’s hits.
