Ryan Murphy’s next Netflix limited series dramatizes New Jersey’s infamous “Watchmen” house with an impressive ensemble.

Ryan Murphy has officially listed his next house – another one with chilling baggage.

Limited series, said to be based on a shocking true story New Jersey’s infamous “Watchmen” home , star Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale , a married couple moves their family to a new home in the suburbs. However, the trailer revealed that everyone around them, especially the anonymous “watchers” of their home, knew they were buying more than they bargained for.
“Do you know the history of this house? I am in charge of watching you. This message will not be the last. I am the watcher,” the stalker wrote in a letter of introduction , they note that the house is their obsession, “Now, so are you.”
Weird trailer (below), which plays the late Olivia Newton John’s “Desperate Dedicated to You” tune that sees new neighbors trying to find their stalker and survive. “Is this what we should tell our children, if we are threatened, we run away?” asked Watts’ character.
Jennifer Coolidge, Mia Farrow, Margot Martindale, Norma Dumezwini, Teresa Lee Kinney, Joe Mantello, Richard Kind, Christopher MacDonald, Michael Nouri, Isabelle Gravitt, Henry Hunter Hall and Luke David Bloom Complete the cast.
The trailer released as part of the Netflix Tudum promotion follows a three-minute video introducing the Coolidge character, 1235226640 Realtor Karen Calhoun , Moderator 100 Boulevard, the infamous house in the series.
Premise: “Dean (Cannavale) and Nora Brannock (Watts) just purchased their dream home in idyllic Westfield, NJ The suburb of y, but after putting all her savings into closing deals, she soon realizes that the neighborhood is not very popular. There is an eccentric old woman named Pearl (Farrow) and her brother Jasper ( Kinney), they sneak into the Blannock house and hide in their dumb. There is Karen (Coolidge), the real estate agent and Nora’s old acquaintance, which makes them feel like they don’t really belong to them, And nosy neighbors Mickey (Kinder) and Mo (Martindale), who don’t seem to understand the property line. Their icy welcome is quick when a man calling himself “The Watcher” starts receiving ominous letters. Turned into a total hell on earth, the Brannocks were horrified as the community’s sinister secrets leaked.”
By prolific producer Murphy and his Created by longtime production partner Ian Brennan, Murphy and Brennan executives produced the series alongside Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Bryan Unkeless, Eric Newman, Paris Barclay, Watts, Ariel Schulman, Henry Joost and Scoop Wasserstein. Murphy and Brennan, who have a lucrative overall deal with the anchor, also recently released another limited series, Dahmer – Monster : The Jeffrey Dahmer Story , on Netflix.
