Andre Iguodala has reportedly not made up his mind.

According to The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater, “still no clear sign” of the veteran Talk about whether he will return to the Golden State Warriors for the 2022-23 season or retire.

While Golden State is somewhat open until he decides on 13 players with guaranteed contracts and one or two depending on whether he returns He was in limbo until his roster spot, with Charania and Slater reporting that the team would “openly invite” him if Iguodala chooses to play.

What’s more, the Warriors may leave the final roster vacant before the season starts to save them the luxury tax they’re about to face .

Iguodala, who turned 39 in January, played 31 games last season. He also appeared in just 21 games in 2019-20 as a member of the Miami Heat. Still, he provides veteran leadership, solid defense off the bench and a solid track record Records can turn to playoff time. He’ll also forever be a Warriors legend, considering he won the 2015 NBA Finals MVP in large part because of his defense against LeBron James. Iguodala has been in the league since the 2004-05 season and played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Warriors and Heat.

At his best, the 6-foot-6 wing was a two-way playmaker, averaging 100 points per game in a season 19.9 points while often defending the opponent’s best player. He’s no longer that version of himself, averaging 4.0 points and averaging 3.7 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 0.9 steals for the Warriors last season.

While his decision won’t make or break Kim Nation’s chances of defending his title, he can still provide a long season important depth.
