NEON has acquired North American and UK distribution rights for horror drama against the dead, starring Oscar-nominated Renate Reinsve.
Reinsve won the Best Actress crown at the Cannes Film Festival for her star handing over The Worst Man in the World. she joined to deal with the dead by the worst in the world People Actor Anders Danielson lies in director Thea Hvistendahl’s feature film debut.
This film about three families facing loss and grief is currently in production, by Kristin Emblem and Guri Neby under their Einar Film banner and by Bjørn Starring Sundquist, Bente Børsum and Baja Spars.
Hvistendahl directed this documentary earlier Adjø Montebello and several short films including Virgins4lyfe which was nominated for the Jury Prize at SXSW .
Dealing with the Undead is set on a hot summer day in Oslo, Norway, as strange electric fields around the city trigger a collective bias in the town Headache. Character-driven genre films deal with the emotions surrounding grief and death and the battle to accept what is beyond our control.

Neon recently acquired Korean director Park Chan-wook’s “Old Boy” starring Choi Min-sik, Yoo Ji-tae, and Kang Hye-jung , Laura Poitra All the Beauty and The Bloodshed , in theaters in the fall 2022.
