Netflix released the first trailer for Harry & Meghan, the streamer at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle .
From director and two-time Oscar nominee Liz Garbus, the six-episode series (What Happened, Miss Simon?, The Farm: Angola, USA), billed as a behind-the-scenes look at the very public love story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, from the secretive days of their early courtship to their experiences under the media spotlight as the world on the most famous celebrity couples.
Although Meghan and Harry cannot claim their Plagued by underexposure, the new docuseries hopes to entice royal watchers with the promise of insider information — “no one can see what happens behind closed doors,” Harry says at one point in the trailer. Pointing out — and the allure of a project underway with the couple’s official sanction. “When the stakes are so high, wouldn’t it make more sense to hear our story?” Markle points out in the trailer. “In the comments of friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and the state of the Commonwealth and the Royal Family today A historian of family-media relations, the series not only illuminates one couple’s love story, but also paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other,” reads a Netflix synopsis for the show. Harry & Meghan is a Story Syndicate production in association with Archewell Productions and Diamond Docs. Executive producers include Garbus, Erica Sashin, Mark Monroe, Dan Cogan, Ben Browning, Chanel Pysnik, Jon Bardin, Mala Chapple and Angus Wall.
