Big Mouth and spinoff Human Resources are both coming to an endNetflix.
Big Mouth has been renewed for the eighth period and final season. Human Resources is getting a second season, but its characters will also appear in the final season of the flagship show. The seventh season of Big Mouth airs later this year, with the final season on .
Netflix notes that the Emmy-winning adult animated comedy will become the longest-running scripted series (excluding kids and family shows) in streaming history. Big Mouth follows a group of middle schoolers and their hormone monsters through the perils of puberty.
“If you told teenagers Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg that middle school took eight years to complete, they’d say ‘Yeah, that sounds good. It never seems to end,'” said series star and executive producer Nick Kroll.
“ Big Mouth is a remarkable achievement in animated comedy that will make Netflix’s longevity history,” Netflix’s Adult animation added by director Billy Wee. “We’re excited to have two more hilarious seasons to share with our fans before wrapping up this fantastic coming-of-age story.”
Netflix also recently updated its overall content Get to grips with Brutus Pink (led by Kroll, Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett), the animation company behind both shows.
