Back in June, a reliable tipsterDigital Chat Station claimed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (SD8550) will be in 1+ 2+2+3 CPU configuration, including 1 Cortex-X3, 2 Cortex-A720, 2 Cortex-A17 and three Cortex-A510 cores. But new information that has surfaced online has revealed different specifications.

The maximum clock speed of the Cortex-X3 is 3.2GHz, while the maximum clock speed of the Cortex-A 510 is 2GHz. Cortex-A715 and Cortex-A17 cores will be clocked up to 2.8GHz .
Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 rumored to use Adreno 740 GPU for graphics-intensive tasks like gaming and video editing, but we don’t have much information on that yet.
We’ve also heard rumors that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will have an ultra-high frequency variant, and its main core will be clocked at 3.4-3.5 GHz.
