Week 2 of the preseason has a ton of national TV games on the books

- Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills: Saturday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. ET (NFL Network)
- Detroit Lions at Indianapolis Colts: Saturday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. ET
The NFL preseason is halfway through this weekend, which is one of the perks of a three-week shorter show. Week 2 of the preseason is considered a “dress rehearsal” for starters to prepare for the regular season, although this varies by team (whether teams have combined practice this week).
There are quite a few nationally televised games this week, starting with Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears face the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night. Geno Smith and Drew Lock are in the quarterback game, but Lock is unavailable due to COVID protocols. The Baltimore Ravens will travel to Glendale for Sunday night’s game against the Arizona Cardinals, wrapping up several days of teams getting together for joint practice. Monday Night Football is back as the Atlanta Falcons head to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets. In total, Week 2 of the preseason will last five days.
Mitchell Trubis An exciting quarterback battle between Key, Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett will take place Saturday night as the Pittsburgh Steelers take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Trey Lance and the San Francisco 49ers also play the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday night.
