On Saturday night, Nicola Peltz Beckham had much to celebrate. Not only did the evening mark the release of her latest project, Lola, but it also served as the unveiling of Peltz Beckham’s directorial debut. Starring Peltz Beckham and Virginia Madsen, Lola tells the story of a young woman fighting for a better life for herself and her sibling, who have both grown up in a toxic household with a difficult mother. The heartbreaking screenplay was also written by Peltz Beckham.
Ahead of the film’s release on February 9, Peltz Beckham gathered her friends and family at the premiere and after-party for Lola in Los Angeles. “I had all my friends and family come get ready with me so early, so we could all do our hair and makeup together,” Peltz Beckham tells Vogue. “We had so much fun getting ready and taking pictures. When it was finally time, we headed to the premiere all together and had such a magical night.”
Glam took place in a suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, and her friend, Selena Gomez, hyped her up for the big night.
“I was so excited to wear Victoria Beckham on a night that meant so much to me. Victoria is a genius, and it was so special to collaborate on this beautiful custom look from her.” The look? A gorgeous bustier-style top in white satin with a pair of tailored trousers—very VB.
And after the screening, was the after-party. Set in the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Rodeo Room, Peltz Beckham helped to organize a night that nodded to a location in the film. “We had specialty Lola-themed pink cocktails, and passed bites and a taco bar,” she explains. “It was decorated with the neon pink custom lights around the DJ booth, in honor of Lola’s club in the film.”
As for the highlight of her night? “Dancing to ‘Spice Up Your Life’ on the dance floor with Victoria,” she adds.
