Carl Pei’s Nothing seems to be gearing up for at least a couple of upcoming headphone releases. Last year, the brand launched the Nothing ear (1) earbuds and is now apparently launching a new model. Some rendered surfaces show the design of earless(2) earbuds.
Visual changes appear to be minimal compared to no ears (1). The clear casing is still there, as is the overall aesthetic of the product. The only really noticeable change we can spot is the “ear(2)” branding on the bud stem in place of the Nothing logo. Sadly, there are no hardware details about the Nothing ear (2) earphones yet.

However, we know that Carl Pei’s company is about to release another set of earbuds – Nothing Ear (stick), scheduled for Available in October 10. The Buds have already been teased during London Fashion Week, with the company making it clear that weight will be one of the product’s core features. Weighing only 4.4 grams, the Nothing Ear (stick) earbuds are clearly designed to be worn all day.
Nothing Ear (stick) and Nothing Ear (2) should not be confused, however, as they are clearly different products. The latter may be some distance away from its official release. Meanwhile, Nothing recently announced a price increase for the first-generation Nothing Ear (1) TWS earphones, a rather confusing move after the successor went on sale. We’ll just have to wait and see how this all plays out.
