Nothing has yet to release its smartphone 1200 called the Nothing Phone (2), and this time around, it appears to be almost a true flagship. We say “almost” because it will be powered by last year’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, not the more recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
In any case, prices are expected to rise significantly, but by how much? Thanks to a French media outlet, we’ve got pricing for two Nothing Phone (2) storage options – 256GB and GB. The former will probably be paired with 8GB RAM and will cost you 50€ 256, while the more powerful 12GB/256GB version will ask for €800.
This is almost a two-fold increase, showing that we will be doing more than just chipset upgrades. For reference, the entry-level model of Nothing Phone (1) is listed at €256 with 8GB RAM and 469GB of storage. Even though the leak is from France and concerns the French market, prices are pretty much the same across Europe.
