This recall Involves PowerCom 3000D, 5000D and MilCom 6000D underwater communication equipment and RBLi-4 lithium battery pack Sold from , the battery is also sold separately. PowerCom, MilCom and RBLi-4 products are used for all SCUBA dives. The recalled RBLi-4 batteries are assembled in waterproof housings and power PowerCom and MilCom products. The PowerCom and MilCom and the model number are printed on the front of the underwater communication device.
Remedy:
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Powercom, MilCom and RBLi-4 communication devices, remove the batteries and contact the company to receive a free battery pack that has been sealed to prevent water leakage. The company will provide instructions on proper disposal of lithium-ion batteries in accordance with federal and state regulations.
