Odeeh Berlin Fall 2023

Jörg Ehrlich and Otto Drögsler’s Odeeh show was the second big comeback of Berlin Fashion Week, with press, buyers and fans of the brand filling the front row. The collection was quintessential Odeeh: a fantastically eclectic mix of colours, materials and silhouettes, details revealed as guests left the venue and approached rows of models.

Ehrlich and Drögsler were inspired by the fascinating early days of winter sports, before the invention of modern sportswear and wearing completely different materials on the slopes. Chunky wools, warm layering, and vintage patterns (from wallpaper and the like) formed the basis of a collection that was so diverse that almost every type of garment had at least one flash.

The biggest surprise was the tailoring, which aimed at the other extreme. Simple and classic, this pared-back formalwear is new at Odeeh, though the intent behind the brand has remained the same since the first collection: quality and craftsmanship. “We wanted to prove that Odeeh can be more than just prints. Patterns can be hidden, but in a suit, every seam has to be accurate to the millimeter. When it comes to workmanship, we never compromise.”
