Leon Edwards knocked out Kamaru Usman in Saturday’s UFC 278 main event to claim the welterweight title.
Become the first opponent ever to knock Usman down inside the Octagon.
Judges Sal D’Amato, Derek Cleary and Chris Lee scored the winning goals for Usman in Rounds 2, 3 and 4. Going into the final game, Usman took an easy lead. It all collapsed with a left header kick at the 4:04 mark of the fifth round.
