An American in Paris is about to undergo a style shift: Emily in Paris , Carrie Bradshaw, etc. Whenever one is in the City of Lights, it feels natural to try a local style (or imitate it). Olivia Wilde is a master class in embracing classic Parisian style while maintaining a strong personality. The actor and director was spotted wearing high-waisted wide-leg jeans Tuesday at the Saint Laurent Fall show. This outfit seems to make one thing clear: Big pants are still all the rage.
Wilde wore baggy trousers with a fitted blazer and a crisp white button-down shirt. Her bigger-is-better mentality carried through the entire outfit. Wilde was carrying a huge Saint Laurent “ES Jumbo Bag,” which looked like it would test the limits of an airline’s carry-on policy, and wore thick platform heels. The whole look was Saint Laurent, in fact, courtesy of creative director Anthony Vaccarello. Wilde sported a pair of oversized sunglasses and tousled hair rounded everything out, showing that it’s possible to add some glamor to a French-girl style.
