On the Podcast: The Making of Vogue's May Cover

This week we are at Vogue. Looking forward to the Met Gala and Costume Institute exhibition “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”, May issue revealed , in which the iconic model paid tribute to Lagerfeld in a photoshoot by Annie Leibovitz at the Grand Palais in Paris. For the cover portfolio, each of the models—all Lagerfeld’s muses—wore outfits created by the famous designer in homage to Karl, stylisted by Alex Harrington. Vogue Global Casting Director Ignacio “Iggy” Murillo joins us to discuss the circus trap (albeit very expensive) it takes to get the world’s top models under one roof Great )—not to mention guest star, Lagerfeld’s feline heir Choupette. Iggy also shares his teenage fashion obsessions – Kate Moss and Peter Lindbergh – and the new models he’s most excited about.

Earlier this week we caught up with longtime Chioma friend and stylist Matthew Henson, who looks after some of the most stylish men in entertainment: Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd. All three had fun, A$AP curated his baby clothes, Pharrell took over Louis Vuitton menswear, The Weeknd was about to start his The Idol Press conference at Cannes Film Festival in May. We also hear about Henson’s voracious appetite for vintage and perfect white tees (it’s Prada…).
