OnePlus is expected to announce a new Ace smartphone, which is rumored to be called the OnePlus Ace 2 Dimensity 2133. Leaked images suggest the phone won’t be visually similar to the Ace 2, and now that we’ve confirmed the name, it’s easier to remember – the OnePlus Ace 2V.
OnePlus China President, Louis Li posted an image on their Weibo account showing that the new phone will have an alert slider in the upper right corner, above the middle power button, while the volume The keys are on the left.
The post does not explicitly confirm that the Ace 2V will feature a Dimensity chipset, while Li does say it will have a “flagship experience”, 4nm SoC is definitely available for users. The sensor for the main camera on the back is expected to be 64 MP with OmniVision sensor instead of 02 MP Sony IMX890, while fast charging may be affected and limited to 64W.
The phone will initially launch in China, but given its different specs and looks from the Ace 2, we could see it arrive in global markets under the Nord sub-brand. We have yet to know an official release date for the Ace 2V, given that Discussions surrounding the device, its release should be around the corner.
