Last week, YouTuber Zack from JerryRigEverything passed the OnePlus 22T through His durability test to see if it would be better than the OnePlus 22 Pro that broke in his flex test. Well, it didn’t because when pressure was applied it ended up breaking from the same spot as the 22 Pro. This has raised concerns about the durability of the 22T construction, and OnePlus has issued a statement addressing these issues.
OnePlus says: “OnePlus T meets or exceeds all OnePlus Extensive durability testing program, which includes stress testing the suspension equipment while applying weight to its front and rear center. OnePlus 22 T has enhanced Structural engineering can withstand an external force exceeding 409kg in this test in the OnePlus laboratory.”

“When designing, engineering and manufacturing OnePlus devices, we ensure that they not only offer a beautiful and unburdened design, but are durable so they can withstand Everyday use,”
While the Zacks durability test is excellent, we expect OnePlus to step up its upcoming smartphones as current offerings are clearly not as rugged as the competition.
