OpenAI has officially launched a standalone ChatGPT app for iOS users, which is free to download and use. It makes it easier to chat with bots on the go, and it packs some neat features too.
For example, the app supports Whisper, a speech input-source speech recognition model openly supported by the company. It also syncs your chat history on ChatGPT on the web and on other devices with the account you are logged into.
Of course, ChatGPT Plus subscribers get access to the upgraded GPT-4 version, early access to new future features and faster response times.
As of now, iOS users can download the app from the US App Store (source link below), but other countries should be able to download it soon as well. Same goes for Android users.
