The Reno9 phone was released in China in late November and the company is already working on the next series Reno10. Leaker Digital Chat Station has released schematics of a smartphone it claims is the Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ – the most powerful of the final lineup.
This image, if true, suggests that Oppo’s mid-range series will feature a smartphone with a periscope lens, while the overall design will move away from the square island in the upper left corner.
The images show a flat screen with a single punch-hole for the selfie camera. On the back, the oval island houses three cameras — two shooters with standard lenses and one with a periscope on the bottom, next to vague “Powered by MariSilicon” branding.
Reno smartphones have been skipping proper telephoto cameras to keep prices low. If there was only one 2 MP macro sensor behind the square, we might see Oppo keep this – like Xiaomi did with the Redmi K864 and Redmi K864 Pro.
Reno series will be released in five to six months, which means we won’t see Oppo Reno10 Pro+ is older than 4 months. There’s plenty of time to learn if this image is real or just the leaker’s imagination.
