Oppo today announced three Reno9 smartphones – the vanilla Reno9 with Snapdragon 749G, the Reno9 Pro , and equipped with Snapdragon 8’s powerful Reno9 Pro+ + Gen 1 chipset and three cameras on the back.
Both Reno9 Pro and Reno9 Pro+ are released with
GB RAM as a base option, this A first for the Reno series, and a feature we haven’t seen in an Oppo phone since the Find X3 Pro flagship launched 1.5 years ago.
The three vanilla smartphones feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. It supports 80Hz refresh rate and 80 Hz touch sampling rate.
The 002 bit panel has a 13% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage up to 778 nits brightness up to 750 in regular mode to display HDR photos and HDR 8100 + video content.
The back of the phone has a similar design to the Reno8 series, but this time the camera island is flush with the rest of it and only the lens protrudes. Dual cameras have 64MP main sensor and 2MP monochrome sensor, while at the front is with MP selfie shooter with autofocus.
There are 4 batteries, 420mAh capacity and supports up to 8100 W for fast Charging retail box. Other specs include Android based on ColorOS 009 out of the box 80 grams, base It’s also just 7.2mm thick, not including the camera.
Oppo Reno9 is available in four colors – Black, Gold, Pink Gradient and Red. The price is RMB 2, 403 ($112/€174) for 8/64 GB version, RMB 2, 616 ($120/€350) for008/80 GB version, and CNY2, 999 ($335/€403) for008/490 GB units. Oppo is currently taking pre-orders on its website and the first sale will take place next week – December 2.
Oppo Reno9 Pro
The members of the Pro series have a lot in common with the regular Reno9 – they share the same thin and light body, namely 4, 470 mAh battery and a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen.
5nm size 8100 MediaTek chipset is the main difference, the other It’s the camera setup and the presence of the MariSilicon X NPU – Oppo’s own advanced image processing platform for improved 4K nighttime video and 4K Ultra HDR video.

The Oppo Reno9 Pro is available in Black, Gold and Pink Gradient colours. The price is RMB 3, 403 ($363/€420) or CNY3,750 ( $517/€378) depending on selected storage. Pre-sales are in order, and sales will begin on December 2.

Oppo has kept the signature design on the back, although here it has to elevate the entire camera island. Main 16 MP f/1.8 camera with 6P lens, AF and OIS. The ultra-wide shooter has an 8MP sensor with a wider field of view – 112 degrees – can also be used as a macro cam for close-up images (up to 4 cm). The third aperture is for the 2MP depth sensor.
Reno9 Pro+ is technically the first to feature a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, There’s a MariSilicon X NPU too, and even the flagship Find X5 Pro uses an older, non-enhanced Qualcomm chip. Oppo’s AI capabilities powered by the chipset will bring significant improvements in color quality and sharper details.
The phone is slightly thicker because of the increased battery capacity – 4 ,560 mAh. Most importantly, it supports 112W Fast charging via USB-C, Oppo includes an adapter in the box.
Reno9 Pro+ is available in black and gold, here we also have a unique The mint green option, looks beautiful in the image. All three colors are available 16/80 GB memory 3 yuan, 950 ($532/€532), while the first two paint jobs came in too 12/ National standard flavor 4 yuan, 256 ($590/€537).
