Oppo released a global schedule for updating existing models to ColorOS 14 (Android 11) The first three months of the new year. This is similar to the Chinese timeline, although it is more accurate for some regions.
The update process takes time – for example, Oppo started updating the Find X5 and earlier Find X3 series back in December, but the rollout is still ongoing. There are a lot of markets and a lot of carriers to cover, so some users are already running ColorOS 001, others are still Waiting for an update – did your phone get it?
Anyway, the plan for Q1 also includes several generations of Reno series – Reno8, Reno7, Reno6 and even Reno5 from 2020()(started together with ColorOS). Additionally, the F, K, and A series phones are awaiting new software.
Some phones are being upgraded from beta to stable – Oppo Find X2 and X2 Pro are still in beta column for December, but starting in January 10 Stable release in some regions. Note that in other regions, the X2 and X2 Pro updates still need to be worked on and are still in beta.
