Italy chose Nostalgia, a Naples scene directed by Mario Mattone Drama, as its Best International Feature Oscar .

The film, a modern adaptation of Ermanno Rea’s novel, premiered at Cannes this year to critical acclaim . It stars Pierfrancesco Favino as Felice Lasco, who returns to the old neighborhood of Naples after living years in Egypt. But once back, his youth delinquents started chasing him.
