Ottawa – This Ottawa Senator announced today, The team has invited 26 players to its 2022 rookie camp, which is from Thursday, September 15th to Monday, September 19th at Canadian Tire Centre ,
Bell Sensplex and LECOM Haborcenter in Buffalo, NY The club invited three goalkeepers, eight defenders and 15 forwards. Ottawa 2022 rookie camp and tournament roster contains three NHL first-round picks – Jack Sanderson (5th in 2020), Ridley Gregg (28th in 2020) and Tyler Boucher (October 2021). Goalkeeper Mads Søgaard and striker Victor Lodin Both made their NHL debuts with the Senators in 2021-22, while Shane Pinto also played in the regular season game against Ottawa. Seven players on the roster appeared in the AHL last season, while 17 of the 26 were drafted by the Senators. Seven players will participate under a draft agreement, and defenseman Xavier Bernard signed as a free agent last summer after being drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 2018. Two of the Senators’ nine 2022 rookies (Jorian Donovan and Tomas Hamara ) will also be present.
