For all that Patrick Mahomes has accomplished, some still think he still has a long way to go to become one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.

“I’ve dealt with a lot of quarterbacks, but I’ve never seen them like ya Len Rodgers took himself,” Watkins told Packers analyst Larry McCarran (h/t independent NFL reporter Dove Kleiman). To be fair, Rodgers is a future Hall of Famer, a four-time MVP, 10-time Pro Bowler Contestants and one-time champions. The 38-year-old hasn’t lost a step, winning the past two MVP awards. Meanwhile, Mahomes is only 26 years old, even though he already has as many titles as Rodgers title, but he also has an MVP and four Pro Bowl berths himself. One would expect the young Mahomes to still have to catch up considering his much shorter time in the NFL Rogers. But it’s hard to imagine the gulf between the two being so wide, considering Mahomes has been a huge success, even if Watkins is giving Rodgers the edge.
