Pamela Anderson Tries the Bodysuit Trend on the Red Carpet

In April , celebrities gathered in New York to hold Mugler X H&M release Yes, to celebrate the latest designer collaboration from the high street brand. Pamela Anderson was one of the many celebrities in attendance, who sat front row at the show showcasing her upcoming collection, alongside live performances by campaign stars Shygirl, Earthheater and Amaarae.

Fittingly, Anderson opted for one of the collection’s boldest looks in a sheer bodysuit embellished with black sequins and stars, paired with an oversized black Blazer, giving a more relaxed feeling. Designed by Mugler’s Creative Director Casey Cadwallader and H&M’s Creative Advisor Ann-Sofie Johansson, the collaboration includes Mugler signature pieces such as Lycra bodysuits, sharply tailored jackets and crystal pieces.

Cadwallader said of the sheer paneled bodysuits in the Vogue collection – “Well… I actually had a Not at first, but it had to be there – H&M asked. We never sold it as a bodysuit, just a top, so it’s funny how we first sold it.”

Anderson’s look continued with the stylish suits the star has worn since the release of her documentaries and memoirs. Her stylist, Rebecca Ramsey, commented in British Vogue;: “She dresses, They don’t wear her.”

Chloë Sevigny, Lourdes Leon, Aaron Philip and Mugler Longtime muse Dominique Jackson was there too, wearing Mugler X H&M of course, while former BritishVogue cover star Precious Lee walked the runway.

The collection will be available at H&M worldwide in May and It will include a sheer bodysuit by Anderson and a directional blazer by Chloë Sevigny. “My view of Mugler has always been democratic,” Cadwallader explained to Vogue. A way to make it clear that it’s always about getting everyone involved. I’m also a big fan of layering, making something like $10, and some $19. Shooting into the air is important when you’re trying to wake Sleeping Beauty up. This is what I’ve been trying to do. Some things are niche, some are bold, maybe sometimes too bold, but this is how the DNA recharges. It’s been part of a larger long-term plan to go from there and fill people with more real clothes. “
