At the end of season 2, there was that scene where Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte are at Mr Big’s house Drinking cosmic beers in a bar around the corner. Engagement Brunch with Natasha at the Plaza Hotel. The girls compared Carrie’s situation to Barbara Streisand’s Katie in “Once Upon a Time”. Miranda explained that Robert Redford’s Hubbell Gardner couldn’t be with Katie “because she’s so complicated…and she has wild, curly hair.” Curly hair, and said, “Hello? Ccc-curly.” Miranda continued, “He left her and married this…simple straight-haired girl.” That’s when Carrie decided the world was made of two types Made up of women: “Simple” girls and “Katie” girls. “I’m a ‘Katie’ girl, where’s our drink?” After confronting her big Mr. Hubbell, Carrie surmised: “Maybe some women aren’t born to be tamed. Maybe they just need to run free until Find someone equally wild to run with them.”
How can you rewatch this scene and not miss Carrie’s wild curls? “Before shooting a scene, [Sarah] would run her hands through her hair to start the shoot; that was her vibe,” recalls hairstylist Sacha Quarles, who worked with Sarah Jesse Sarah Jessica Parker co-stars on Seasons 2, 3 and 4 of SATC. “It’s not just a magazine cover. It’s a beauty with a real-life feel.” Unfortunately for her on And Just Like That.. For Gao Bo, this is not the case. Again, 2023 Carrie is entitled to new, more controlled, precise hairstyles. Unlike in the past, she can certainly afford the weekly blowouts that set the stage for her well-crafted bends.
