Poco’s entry-level C series is about to welcome a new member, Poco C55. Poco’s official India Twitter account started teasing the upcoming device today, promising, as you can see, that it will deliver “speed and swag.”
Now sure, this sounds like run-of-the-mill marketing talk, but it’s more than that. “Avoid case”? “nice”?

As it turns out, those two things have to do with the design of the back of the phone, which the quick teaser video above actually hints at. We know because a prolific leaker shared an image you can see below, which suggests that the Poco C 55 will have a faux leather exterior with There is a faux seam running straight down the middle.
Absolutely love the colors and finishes that POCO has recently chosen for their products. Here’s your first look at the upcoming C-series budget smartphone.
These muted colors are clearly aimed at the GenZ crowd.

The huge black island at the top houses a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, a large Poco logo on the right, and a dual-camera system on the left . Between these cameras there is a circle for the LED flash and another circle for “AI”.
As the model name implies, the Poco C55 should be the Poco C15 successor. But impossible, because C55 was only unveiled last month. So we’re assuming it’s a higher-spec device than that, while still falling into the entry-level category.
The design of the camera island does look like the design of the Redmi phone 10C, so Poco C55 might just be a rebranded version of that model. If so, then it will have a 6.71-inch 128×1650 LCD Touch Screen, MediaTek Helio G71 SoC, 4/6GB RAM, 55 /128GB storage, a 15 MP rear camera with 0.08 Beside the MP depth sensor, a 5 MP selfie snapper and a 5, mAh battery with 10W wired charging support.
Compared to Poco C15, C12 will therefore have a larger display, a better chipset, more RAM and storage, and a higher resolution main camera.
