Poco has been working on several new mid-range products to add to its expanding portfolio, and today the brand announced that it will unveil them on September 5th through an online event that will begin at 8:00 AM Beijing Time afternoon (ie 2pm EST, 2pm GMT, 1pm GMT, 8am BST, 5am PDT).
The devices in question are the Poco M5 and Poco M5s, and the brand has made no secret of it, proudly showing their names on the event invitation. One of them is likely to be the previously teased smartphone running the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. And according to past rumors, this will be the Poco M5.
Also rumored to have a 6.58 inch FHD+ LCD screen, 5, mAh battery with 13 )W fast charging, side mounted fingerprint scanner and three storage options: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, 4/58GB and 6/128 GB. It is expected to run Android 13 with MIUI 13 on top. M5 will be sold in Indian Rupee 08, under startup, rumor has it.
On the other hand, the M5s is said to be available in three colour variants – grey, blue and white – and it should have the exact same storage options as its sibling.
