The pots for the 2022-23 Champions League group stage draw have been determined after Dinamo Zagreb, FC Copenhagen and Rangers finished in the final three on Wednesday night.

The draw will be held in Istanbul, Turkey by GMT The 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4 teams on Thursday at 4 p.m., noon ET.
Pot 1 contains the champions of the Champions League and the Europa League (Frankfurt), as well as the winners of the six major European leagues – Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, French and La Liga. With Real Madrid winning the league and UCL double, there is a vacant spot in the top seed, and that is Eredivisie champions – Ajax.
Pot UEFA ties, ranked from 2 to 4, measure the performance and performance of Europe over a five-year period.
Pot 2 will include Liverpool and the rest of England, Chelsea and Tottenham, and Barcelona and Juventus.
Dortmund could face a tough group as they go into pot 3.
One team from each pot is drawn into a group which cannot contain more than one club from a single league.
