PUBG just launched a new version of its mobile game, bringing a ton of new features, including a brand new map. PUBG 2.2 offers a new game mode, visual changes to the environment, and updated locations for the already existing Erangel map.
The new map is called Noosa, and it’s a tropical paradise island, which sounds a lot like the crater map from Call of Duty: Warzone that came out earlier this year . The map also adds a super recall mechanic that will respawn players who were eliminated early in the game as long as they have surviving teammates. Single player players will automatically respawn. As for Erangel, you’ll find something in the surrounding area that adds additional location and visual changes.
The so-called Gear Front Mode will be available in all maps and will offer new travel and resupply options. This is a themed mode offering fast-paced gunfights, more enemy encounters, new skills and faster map traversal.
