“Shang-Chi” star Simu Liu sparked a heated debate after the director of “Kill Bill” expressed his views on the Marvel movie.

Quentin Tarantino became the latest notable filmmaker to moderate a superhero movie critique, only to find that his comments got the Hulk under fire on Twitter.
During an interview on Tom Segura’s podcast, 2 bears 1 hole , Tarantino was asked what should be a completely safe topic in a Marvel movie.
“I don’t love them,” Tarantino said. “No, I don’t know. I don’t hate They. But I don’t love them. I mean, you see, I used to collect Marvel comics like crazy when I was a kid. There’s one aspect that I’d be super happy if these movies came out in my twenties And totally in love with them. [But] they won’t be the only movies in the making, they’ll be the ones among the others. I almost So I don’t seem too excited about them.”
Segura points out that Manga Wayne movies often feel like “copies” of previous MCU movies, adding that “you’re never taken where you don’t expect to be.”
“The only thing I have to fix is, They’re the only things that look like they’ve been manufactured,” Tarantino said. “And they seem to be the only things that generate any kind of excitement in the fanbase or even in the studios that make them … so it’s just the fact that they’re all about this era of cinema right now. There really isn’t much room for anything else. That’s my question. This is a rep Sexual issues.”
“Part of the Marvelization of Hollywood is that you have all these actors who are famous for playing these characters,” he added. “But they’re not movie stars. Right? Captain America is the star. Thor is the star. I’m not the first to say that. I think it’s been said a million times, but it’s these franchise characters who are the stars.” .”
“Back to , if an actor is in a movie as good as the Marvel movies, then he is An absolute star,” he continued. “It means people like him or her, they like them and want to see their work.” Sandra Bullock at Speed and everyone thought she was awesome in it. Everyone fell in love with her..they had a crush on Sandra Boo Rock (Sandra Bullock) was excited and wanted to see her in something else. That’s not the case now. We’d like to see that guy [go on to] a Wolverine or something.”
Marvel’s Legend of Shang-Chi Ten Rings Star Liu Simu hit back on Twitter : “If only movie stars’ only gatekeepers were from Tarantino And Scorsese, I’ll never get the chance to lead a $67 A million plus movies. I’m in awe of their filmmaking genius. They’re phenomenal directors. But they can’t point their nose at me or anyone. No movie studio is perfect and never will be Perfect. But I’m proud to be part of an ongoing effort to improve diversity on screen with a hero who created heroes to empower and inspire people in all communities around the world. I also love ”’Golden Age””. …but it’s dead white.”

Tarantino fans might point out that if the director wanted more non-Marvel content to get fans excited, he could have done it. But the director swears to resign from his upcoming release The directorial job of the unwritten tenth film. Tarantino reaffirmed his retirement plans in a podcast.
“I think ten is a good number,” he said. “I’m ready to walk off the stage and leave them wanting more. Don’t clutter my repertoire with a bunch of out-of-place old man movies…I’ve done everything I’ve ever wanted to do.”
