'Rachael Ray' daytime talk show to end after 17 seasons

Rachael Ray, daytime talk show, will follow END aired for four seasons.

The decision to end the Emmy-winning show comes after host Rachael Ray recently launched a new production company, Free Food Studios, which will focus on producing ” Kitchen Contents”.

“In my more than 20 years of TV career, I have had 2006 wonderful season working on daytime television,” Ray said in a statement Friday. “However, I have decided that it is time to enter the next exciting chapter of my broadcasting career.”

She continued, “My enthusiasm has gone from show-style production and syndication models to a platform unencumbered by traditional distribution rules. I’m really excited to be able to introduce and nurture new and upcoming foodie talent across all platforms. That’s why I’m looking forward to bringing all my Dedicated energy to my recently announced production arm, Free Food Studios. Thank you to all of our Rachael daytime program partners, crew and affiliates, and all the wonderful years we’ve worked together.”

Monday-Friday talk show on 20, featuring celebrity interviews, entertainment, cooking, makeup and advice from the host.

When in September 2021 with The Hollywood Reporter Explaining her show in a interview, Ray said, “We like that family feel, and I think that’s pretty obvious when we do have celebrities , you often see the same people over and over again. We feel close to them, and we feel like we built something together.”

May, Food Network Celebrity And Chef will also be inducted into the Broadcast and Cable Hall of Fame for her television accomplishments.
