Rainn Wilson to receive Comedy Impact Award and give US keynote at Just For Laughs’ ComedyPRO Conference , organizers announced Thursday.
When the Montreal Comedy Festival announced its final lineup, the festival said Marlon Wayans — Horror Comedy Spoof Movie Star of Horror Movie and Horror Movie 2 — and Feel Good star Mae Martin will be performing during Solo Showst Edition, Mixed Media Artist ALOK, Trey Kennedy, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah Writer Alingon Mitra, Noel Miller and Ali McCowski.
In addition to Wilson’s keynote, JFL has booked Steph Tolev to deliver the Canadian keynote at the ComedyPRO conference, while Jessica Kirson will deliver her annual State of the Industry presentation previously delivered in Montreal. Andy Kindler has had years.
Other scheduled JFL events include Silicon ValleyStars Thomas Middleditch and co-star Sean Giambroney promoting the upcoming fourth season Opposition of the Sun on Hulu , including previews for sneak peek clips. JFL organizers had earlier announced that “Saturday Night Live” alum Leslie Jones, Eddie Izzard and Martin have joined the festival lineup as this summer’s 14 host of the event.
