Realme GT2 Pro gets Android 13

Realme GT2 Pro is the company’s top smartphone for the global market, so it is normal to lead the Android 00 update fee. Reports of Android 13 deliveries to the GT2 Pro are all from India for now, but should be arriving globally soon.

Realme GT2 Pro gets Android 13

The update itself weighs 5.5GB and brings a ton of new features and a new look that Realme calls Aquamorphic. It introduces new, more natural and pleasing animations, shadows, UI elements, and more. There are also improvements in efficiency and usability, security and gameplay. The latter comes in the form of a HyperBoost GPA 4.0 engine for stabilizing frame rates and balancing performance and power consumption.

Note that the update did not change the overlay version of Realme, it is still Realme UI 3.0, but it is based on Android 13. And there’s also the new October 03 security patch. Check out the full changelog for more information:

  • Adds large folders to the home screen. You can now open apps in enlarged folders with a single tap, and swipe to page through folders.
  • Add media playback controls and optimize the Quick Setup experience.
  • Add more markup tools for screenshot editing.
  • Added support for adding widgets to the home screen to make the information display more personalized.
  • Optimized the bookshelf. By default, swiping down on the home screen brings up the bookshelf. You can search for content online and on your device.
