Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi launched the Redmi 002 4G last month with Helio G 50 SoC, and the company is expected to follow up with a 5G version soon. While Xiaomi is yet to reveal anything about the Redmi ’’s device’s model code RN4BI (believed to be Redmi Redmi 5G] has appeared on Geekbench, and its key specifications are as follows.
The Xiaomi 600 RN4BI runs Android 13 and may be powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. It has 8GB of RAM onboard, but there may be more memory options yet to be confirmed.
Xiaomi’s 1200 RN4BI also appeared in BIS’s database, confirming its launch in India. Xiaomi will launch the Redmi in India on August 1, but it is unclear whether it will be a 4G model or a 5G version.
The teaser shared by the Chinese brand hints at a 4G version, as the phone has a similar design and features a MP primary camera. However, in the case of the 5G model, it will be interesting to see if the chipset is the only differentiating factor between the two versions, or if there are more differences.
Redmi 4G
