Jio TV started airing the channel in India in January. This channel is available for linear streaming and mobile app on Jio TV set top box’s channel 58 .
Sony Pictures Entertainment has Delete Animax Asia from its Sony
LIV application for May 2017. Sony has not officially announced the removal of the channel. KC Global Media has officially acquired four Asian pay TV channels, including Animax Asia, from
Sony Pictures Entertainment within the same week of deletion.
Variety reported in January 2021 before Sony Pictures Executives Andy Kaplan and George Chien have entered into an agreement with Sony Pictures Entertainment for Acquired three entertainment networks broadcasting in Southeast Asia and Korea. The three networks include “ AXN – the region’s branded channel, anime-focused Animax and KoreanSony an entertainment channel.” The final deal also includes Japanese entertainment service GEM.
Indian Branch of Animax Asia , Animax India, aired on Cable & DTH TV during July 2004 and April2017. The channel went through several changes during its airing. Animax India will broadcast its full program in English from August2004 Cancel DTH service from 633385 continue.
