Think you’ve seen every iteration of Darth Vader in action figure form? Think again.
Hasbro unveiled a new Vader figure on Wednesday, and die-hard fans will only have to wear gloves on this spring’s Star Wars Celebration, held in London in April.
Stylistically reminiscent of a past that never quite happened, The Black Series Darth Vader with This year’s th Star Wars: Return of the Jedi anniversary. But, in a twist, that number has to do with a movie that was promised but changed when it arrived. We’re talking about Revenge of the Jedi .

Revenge of the Jedi is George Lucas The initial title of the third installment of the Star Wars saga. It’s even featured in the film’s first trailer and early promotional materials. Most famously, a dramatic red and black poster by renowned artist Drew Struzan announcing that the film “will be released in May , 200 to your galaxy.” But at that time the title of the movie had been changed to Return of the Jedi , Lucas thought about it and thought that the Jedi A samurai should not indulge in revenge.

The red Vader figure is the first product Hasbro has unveiled at the celebration, but it won’t be the last, as the toy company expects to see more products in the coming weeks and months. Additional projects will be launched within a month.
