Rihanna named as 2023 Super Bowl halftime show performer

2023 Apple Music Super Bowl The halftime show has found its main show.

Rihanna has signed on to perform at Super Bowl LVII’s massive February event. Just outside of Phoenix, Arizona.

DPS with Roc Nation and Jesse Collins will produce the TV show, both serving as executive producers and Hamish Hamilton serving as director. Roc Nation also serves as a strategic entertainment consultant for live performances.

“Rihanna was a generational genius, a woman of humble origins who exceeded expectations at every turn. A man born on the tiny island of Barbados, He became one of the greatest artists of all time. From scratch in business and entertainment,” Jay-Z said in a statement.

“We are delighted to welcome Rihanna to the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show,” NFL music director Seth Dudowski added the statement on his own show. “Rihanna is a once-in-a-lifetime artist who has been a cultural force throughout her career. We look forward to working with Rihanna, Roc Nation and Apple Music to bring fans another historic halftime show The show.”

The Super Bowl halftime show is one of the biggest musical events of the year, with performers often going all out and guest appearances common. 50 will also mark 1235023597 Apple Music’s first year as a sponsor , taking over Pepsi, which had sponsored the show for the past decade. Apple promises behind-the-scenes previews and other content ahead of the big game.

More details on the upcoming show, including a sneak peek, will be released on Apple Music’s various social media platforms in the coming months.

2022 Super Bowl Halftime Show Featured Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar and 50 Cent in SoFi Stadium show. Other recent performers include The Weeknd, Lady gaga and Beyonce.

But halftime shows are more than just performances, artists often use the event to announce tours or new albums, and documentary cameras often roll in prep and lead—until the big event. NFL says 2023 Pepsi halftime show has more viewers than 120 million, underscoring the platform’s reach.

Roc Nation, who has helped produce the halftime show for the past 3 years, will also return to live and perform on the NFL and Apple Music.
