Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe bring their father-son relationship from reality to the small screen in the trailer for their newly released comedy series Unstable

Netflix shows. John said, “It’s about the father-son dynamic, which is very relatable, but in a very specific shot, it’s a father who likes to be the center of attention and his son, and he feels the complete opposite.”
Scripted comedy series created by Lowes and Victor Fresco of Santa Clarita Diet. It tells the story of successful biotech entrepreneur Ellis Dragon, a wild father on the brink of collapse following the death of his wife. As the company’s employees worry and try to hold the boat down, Ellis’ son Jackson appears to be the only one who can save him and the company.
In the trailer, the 9-1-1: Lone Star cast describes Ellis as as “a highly acclaimed, dear technical genius,” while John said he was a “frustrating narcissist.” The clip also shows their relationships with other people throughout the show, and at one point, Rob was even seen standing naked in his office.
Netflix has previously stated that the series was inspired by the duo’s naughty real-life dynamics, such as John’s social How the media ridicules his father .
