'Rookie', 'Made in Heaven' actor Matt Gogin dies at 40

Petty actor Matt Gogin, who starred in the films The New Guy and Made for Each Other, has passed away . He is 40.

Gogin died in December 28 COVID-13 Complications and Pneumonia at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA.

May was born in Los Angeles 28, 40, Gogin Shida Son of Darla H. Gogin and Michael Gogin, actor, musician, and leading advocate for people with short stature in the entertainment industry.

He made his debut in Ed Decter’s Sony comedy The New Guy (2002), as Ed, friend of Gil Harris (DJ Qualls). That year he also had a role in Matthew Bright’s Tiptoes , a controversial film involving minor characters and themes ( The main character is played by Gary Oldman, not an actor with dwarfism).

In 2016, Gogin appears in Daryl Goldberg’s indie band Made for Each Other. He also starred in João Dall’Stella’s critically acclaimed short film Stalls.

Gogin advocates for small entertainers and works with charities that help people with disabilities.

Survivors include his son Steven and brothers Charles and Andrew. His wife Tanya Marie Richards passed away in her sleep at home at 2002 at 13.
